Robotics for Every Age

The Technobotics Foundation runs a volunteer‑led, community‑based robotics program for students from kindergarten through 12th grade, offering FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams as well as discovery programs.

FLL

FIRST LEGO League

Students K-8th grade explore basic STEM concepts by designing, building, and programming autonomous LEGO-based robots. Teams work together to complete themed, real-world challenges and present research projects alongside friendly robotics competitions.

FIRST Tech Challenge

Students in grades 6-12 design, build, and program mid-sized robots using modular metal components and Java. Teams operate as miniature engineering firms to raise funds, develop strategies, and compete in sports-model game arenas.

FIRST Robotics Competition

Students in grades 8-12 work alongside professional engineering mentors to design and assemble complex, industrial-sized 125-pound robots. They compete on large playing fields in fast-paced alliance matches, learning advanced CAD, machining, and software skills.
