FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is an exciting STEM robotics program designed for students in grades 6–12. Working in teams under the guidance of adult mentors, participants design, build, and program Java-based robots to compete in dynamic, alliance-based field games. Beyond engineering and software development, team members manage budgeting, create brand identities, and conduct local community outreach. Grounded in the core ethos of Gracious Professionalism, the competition helps students cultivate practical leadership, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills for future STEM careers.
