About Team 5454 Obsidian
Obsidian, FIRST Robotics Competition Team 5454, is a student-led robotics team based in Bentonville, Arkansas, and the flagship program of Technobotics 4-H Foundation, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Each year, our students design, build, program, and compete with a full-size robot during an intense six-to-eight-week build season, then travel to regional competitions and, when they qualify, the FIRST Championship. Since 2015, Obsidian has earned numerous awards, including a FIRST Championship division title, while mentoring dozens of FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge teams across Northwest Arkansas. Membership is completely free and open to all students ages 12–18 — no tryouts, no waitlist.
